Esplendor: Center for bonding and socialization started as a therapeutic and educational clinic with Speech, Ocupational and Educational interventions founded by me and the family of the girl I visited to evaluate and to create a home and a school intervention program. During my tenure in Mexico (2012-2014)  I acted as the program director, creating home and school programs, and training personnel  in Guanajuato capital, Silao, León and Irapuato, as well as other rural communities. We also volunteered with the local Department of Education (Guanajuato, Mexico) to help train, implement and supervise class interventions in local schools. Esplendor: Guarderia was born in 2015. Since then I have been a consultant of special education and I have travelled to Mexico, specially during the Summer, to supervise the program of children with special needs and participate in International conferences.

From the personal initiative to help one child, Esplendor transformed from clinic to daycare and, today, it serves regular and special needs children. It is also intended as a place for the inclusion of children with autism and other developmental delays, who find it very difficult to bond and connect with other children.

Esplendor has always participated with Resplandor International: a strong local non profit organization we wish to unite efforts in the near future to expand the scope of influence in the region.
